[ WEEK TWO – INVESTIGATION ]

Someone had a real party in here last night, huh.

[ Welcome the examination room!
It looks pretty simple -- there's cabinets along two of the walls filled with supplies. There's an examination table and stool across from that. A skeleton with a labcoat stands decoratively in the corner. Some paintings. It's very quaint.
Well. It was very quaint.
A lot of the drawers are pulled out some of the supplies just sort of scattered along the floor. Natalie will probably notice that a lot of these supplies aren't very period specific, the little packages of gauze and needles definitely not something you'd find in the wild west.
On top of that, there's a heck of a lot of blood! Just sort of dripping all over and spread over the drawers and such. It seems like whoever was looking through these supplies was bleeding pretty badly in the midst of it.
There's also the matter of the side door, leading off to the office. A bloody handprint rests on the wall beside the door. ]

Ah... [she starts saying something and then just yawns again. give her a second, she's still waking up......] Excuse me. [And then she lightly presses a finger to her lips, careful not to move the other residents of her nap pile in the process. She's very quiet when she continues:]
Please don't be too loud, they're really sleepy and I don't want to wake them... [child, please.] Milla and I stayed outside last night because we didn't want Jason to be alone, and Mister Sheriff didn't like that...

When I talked to him yesterday he said he woke up there. The Sheriff picked him up out of his room, moved him, and locked him up without waking anybody else up. Kind of makes the chances of something bad happening to him even worse. [He shakes his head.] What do you think? Wanna keep moving? The church looks okay for now.

[ It won't be jumping out at him but the closer he inspects, the more he'll find a scabbard lying right there on the floor. It's tucked a bit under the clothes pile.

[ It's only partially rhetorical as she leads the way to the stairs. She feels strangely frustrated. Being someplace without evidence just means they can't help... but at the same time, they can't afford to not be thorough. ]

[ The office is very quaint. There's a small library of medical texts. There's a desk and a few desk chairs. A rug. A couch. It's all very nice.
Except sorry, Natalie! There is a body.
In that, as she opens the door, she will see Higekiri, bandaged and in bloody clothes, lying on the couch. It's kind of a mystery if he's still kicking though, you might want to check. ]

It's possible nothing happened down here and everything relevant is upstairs, but you'd think they'd have left a clue of some kind coming down. Otherwise, they'd have had to have jumped out the window to leave no trace of it down here, and I don't think the people in this town who can jump like that [Ezio] would do something like this...
