CURRENT POPULATION: 28 It's a rather quaint town when you get down to it. At least, that's what the Sheriff would argue. Warm and dry in the mornings and afternoons with a brisk coolness in the evenings. The perfect type of weather to just sit out on your rocking chair and observe the comings and goings. ... Of course, there's not much in the way of comings and goings when there aren't any actual people here to watch. Nevertheless, don't let that get you down! The town is your oyster and those roosters won't stop crowing until everyone's out of bed. Up and at 'em, rise and shine, it's time to make the day yours! After all, there's nothing wrong with the town today and you might just want to savor it while it lasts. This post functions as the general mingle post for the week. [ That's... certainly alarming. Chane is reasonably dressed but barefoot as she makes her way out of her room and toward the kitchen, only to be cut off by -- yeah. The unpleasant cacophany sounds more like bleary surprise than genuine fear, but she knows not to take that for granted, especially in this place.

(Also, screaming? Totally annoying. Chane is glad she can't make noises like that.)

The kids will hear a brief flurry of light footsteps and then a knock at the door. ]

[The knock conveniently comes in between all of their yelling, and seeing how Percy's closest to the door he's opening it but only briefly keeping it open enough to see Chane. She might just be able to get a glimpse of two dark-haired teenagers freaking out and also a horse.]

...morning. [Uh. Yeah. This is a little awkward how do you explain what the fuck is going on.]

[ She has to heft up on her toes to see over him and ensures the reasonable health of all occupants in the room. As soon as Chane sees the horse, she decides ... that this is not something she wants to deal with.
