CURRENT POPULATION: 40 It's a rather quaint town when you get down to it. At least, that's what the Sheriff would argue. Warm and dry in the mornings and afternoons with a brisk coolness in the evenings. The perfect type of weather to just sit out on your rocking chair and observe the comings and goings. ... Of course, there's not much in the way of comings and goings when there aren't any actual people here to watch. Nevertheless, don't let that get you down! The town is your oyster and those roosters won't stop crowing until everyone's out of bed. Up and at 'em, rise and shine, it's time to make the day yours! After all, there's nothing wrong with the town today and you might just want to savor it while it lasts. This post functions as the general mingle post for the week. If you are asking why I have ended up in here, I am afraid I truly do not know. I have not committed any crimes.

[ Chane's instinct is to be suspicious. This town has made its odd game clear, yes, but if they're all to kill one another (she's too clinical about it, already) why lock one girl up?

[She sure is a delight... it's okay, Tiara's too concerned with this whole situation to get mad about it.]

Why... Out of common decency, I would suppose!

[She droops a moment later, sighing.]

I...do not even know how I arrived here. One moment I was safely home with my companions, the next I was here, in a cell. It is truly... [Scary.]

[ That does sound familiar to what happened to them, except for that last part. Why would forty individuals be brought to the town as participants and then two young women left in jail cells? Chillingly, Chane's first assumption is that the Sheriff - or whoever his employers are - want the townspeople to hunt the young women.

Not now, but eventually. Chane can't say adding that qualifier makes her any more excited by the prospect.

Of course, that's assuming that she believes the young woman.

[She's not opposed to trying, but she's in a jail cell without anything to her name.

[ That's not really her problem, Tiara. As such, Chane offers zero help to this dilemma. She'll wait a few more moments and if Tiara hasn't provided any reasoning to assist her, she will turn and leave.
