CURRENT POPULATION: 40 It's a rather quaint town when you get down to it. At least, that's what the Sheriff would argue. Warm and dry in the mornings and afternoons with a brisk coolness in the evenings. The perfect type of weather to just sit out on your rocking chair and observe the comings and goings. ... Of course, there's not much in the way of comings and goings when there aren't any actual people here to watch. Nevertheless, don't let that get you down! The town is your oyster and those roosters won't stop crowing until everyone's out of bed. Up and at 'em, rise and shine, it's time to make the day yours! After all, there's nothing wrong with the town today and you might just want to savor it while it lasts. This post functions as the general mingle post for the week. Is the ticket home our only motivation to harm each other? I don't know what's stopping us from attacking you and your employers instead.

Your "employers" hired you to kidnap a large group of people, bring them to this strange town, order us to kill each other to get home, and aren't even on site to make sure it all goes smoothly?

They must trust your ability to "keep us in line" quite a bit.

Nah. The kidnapping ain't me, I'm just here for the town. Give the rules. Keep things running.

And I suppose they do, since they built me to do this. Not really had much reason to question.

What can you tell us about these "employers?"

Not much to say. They're just my employers. Run a game yearly as part of this festival thing. Put in the money to bring all you here and watch it go down.

It'd be different if we all volunteered for this violence, but we didn't. They must be a repulsive sort to kidnap so many people and force them into this situation.

Suppose. Suppose not. I don't have much of an opinion either way on it, ethics don't bother me. Just what it is and I try and see it to the end.

Don't really have anything like that. Don't really seem to need it either. It is what it is, ain't what it ain't.

Don't see how. Pretty simple in my opinion. Built to do a thing, don't have the ability to do otherwise. Why make a toaster that can't make toast? That kind of thing.
