CURRENT POPULATION: 40 It's a rather quaint town when you get down to it. At least, that's what the Sheriff would argue. Warm and dry in the mornings and afternoons with a brisk coolness in the evenings. The perfect type of weather to just sit out on your rocking chair and observe the comings and goings. ... Of course, there's not much in the way of comings and goings when there aren't any actual people here to watch. Nevertheless, don't let that get you down! The town is your oyster and those roosters won't stop crowing until everyone's out of bed. Up and at 'em, rise and shine, it's time to make the day yours! After all, there's nothing wrong with the town today and you might just want to savor it while it lasts. This post functions as the general mingle post for the week. [ Well, that approach sure does help because Ao just sits on the cot, knees pulled to her chest and wary as Percy approaches. Her ears twitch on her head and she bites her lip before quietly giving him -- ]

It's Ao. Nanami Ao.

Ao. [He's barely watching the ears because after a while you just get used to people like...you know. Satyrs. Or cyclopes. Or harpies? Stuff like that.] Don't worry. We'll figure something out, okay? [He doesn't know what the hell is happening but he wants to help.] Do you remember how you got here?

[ Ao just gives a shake of her head, pressing her forehead to her knees and sighing. ]

I just woke up here. I was at home and then -- and then I was here.

You don't remember anything else? A train? The Sheriff? [That makes no sense.]

No. Should I know about a train? Is there -- is there a train outside? Can we use it to go home?

[hydrokinetics]

I don't think so. When we checked on it it looked like it wasn't going anywhere...but we're working on it. [There's a subtle nod to the other girl jailed away.] Did you two wake up together? Or did one of you get here first?
