CURRENT POPULATION: 40 It's a rather quaint town when you get down to it. At least, that's what the Sheriff would argue. Warm and dry in the mornings and afternoons with a brisk coolness in the evenings. The perfect type of weather to just sit out on your rocking chair and observe the comings and goings. ... Of course, there's not much in the way of comings and goings when there aren't any actual people here to watch. Nevertheless, don't let that get you down! The town is your oyster and those roosters won't stop crowing until everyone's out of bed. Up and at 'em, rise and shine, it's time to make the day yours! After all, there's nothing wrong with the town today and you might just want to savor it while it lasts. This post functions as the general mingle post for the week. [Despite receiving approval, Yuna's so stressed about everything and so worried about these jailbirds that she's shifted her helping gears into maximum overdrive... she's Trying.]

[She's very pleased, honestly; Tiara tucks her legs under her more neatly and sips from the cup, equally neatly.]

You have been so incredibly kind... Yuna, was it?

[In that case!! Yuna's going to take a seat on the floor on the other side of the bars, instead of just sort of hovering over her as much as her tiny self can.]

Yeah—aaahh, I'm sorry, I got distracted and forgot to ask for your name, too!

Oh...that is quite all right. My name is Tiara. Truly, it is a pleasure, and I am grateful for your care.

It's nice to meet you, Miss Tiara! [She seems awfully fancy so Yuna decides she'd better use a title for her...!!] I just wish we could meet somewhere else... Have they kept you here long?

[She's certainly not going to dismiss the title...because in truth, she has a fancypants soul.]

No... I do not believe it has been long. Truthfully, it is difficult to keep track of time in here, but I would have noticed if it had been all too long.

[Which... she's not sure what to think of that, really.]

Miss Ao and I seem to have arrived at the same time.

That's good, at least... Did you wake up in here? [A pause, and then, a little quieter:] Did the Sheriff already tell you about...the festival, and the rules? [and the MURDER]

Yes... I believe Miss Ao and myself both awoke here

... The Sheriff did not, but I have since heard from others.

[MURDER]

Truly... it does not fill me with hope for our purpose here.

[cherrypuncher]

Don't worry! As long as you're stuck here, I'm going to take care of you two!

[Yuna says this pretty much immediately, touching a hand to her chest, determination sparkling in her eyes.]

I can't get this door open now, but I won't stop trying to find a way to do it, and until then, I'll make sure I check in on you every day! I'll even bring food! I can only cook a few things, but I'm sure they'll be better than prison food, and if I'm visiting, you two won't be alone. So don't worry, Miss Tiara! It's going to be fine!

Miss...Yuna...

[Tiara's shocked, it's plain on her face. She stares at Yuna for a long moment--and then, quietly and a little tearfully, she nods.

And smiles.]

...Thank you. I shall put my faith in you for that--I am under your care, Miss Yuna.
