CURRENT POPULATION: 40 It's a rather quaint town when you get down to it. At least, that's what the Sheriff would argue. Warm and dry in the mornings and afternoons with a brisk coolness in the evenings. The perfect type of weather to just sit out on your rocking chair and observe the comings and goings. ... Of course, there's not much in the way of comings and goings when there aren't any actual people here to watch. Nevertheless, don't let that get you down! The town is your oyster and those roosters won't stop crowing until everyone's out of bed. Up and at 'em, rise and shine, it's time to make the day yours! After all, there's nothing wrong with the town today and you might just want to savor it while it lasts. This post functions as the general mingle post for the week. [ Chane looks over again, this time more plainly apologetic - even if it sits oddly on her, like an expression she's unused to wearing. Having apparently caused offense, she's not entirely sure what to do now, and spreads her hands. ]

Shouldn't you be more worried about you? And your husband? I appreciate it, but I think right now, it's completely fine to want to take care of yourselves first.

[ At that, a muscle in her cheek jumps. Honestly, it hadn't even occurred to her that she wouldn't be immune to this toothy game. Someone killing her - or, even more laughably, someone killing Claire?

Although not on the MOST WANTED post board, his bounty poster is also (conveniently) hanging outside the train station. Chane pulls it off deftly, showing it to Sara. His expression is an effortless boast of a smile, almost infectious. Looking at it, it's hard to believe that anything but his promise will come to fruition; her husband, who swore he'd never die. ]

[ Secretly, she sighs heavily that Chane landed herself a hot husband, but you know what, she's not too envious. Really. ]

I mean, I guess I wouldn't pick on a guy who summoned a monster via human sacrifice?

That was just a metaphor.

So don't feel too bad about it, Sara. Because, you know what?

He has an odd imagination. ]

That's your type, huh... he's got a good smile, at least.

[ Yeah, he is nice to look at, if nothing else. And he's great at carrying the conversation! ... Surprisingly, something occurs to Chane, and it's a something that likely would have been far from her mind in the past.

Huh? You sure that's not like a lovey-dovey married couple thing?

[ She's not about to interrupt a marital tradition, is she? ]

[ Well, Claire is a freak, but—!

Chane shakes her head, no. ]

I'll take you up on that, then! At some point, promise.
