CURRENT POPULATION: 40
It's a rather quaint town when you get down to it. At least, that's what the Sheriff would argue. Warm and dry in the mornings and afternoons with a brisk coolness in the evenings. The perfect type of weather to just sit out on your rocking chair and observe the comings and goings.
... Of course, there's not much in the way of comings and goings when there aren't any actual people here to watch. Nevertheless, don't let that get you down! The town is your oyster and those roosters won't stop crowing until everyone's out of bed. Up and at 'em, rise and shine, it's time to make the day yours!
After all, there's nothing wrong with the town today and you might just want to savor it while it lasts.

Sorry... I guess it doesn't. [ She looks a little sheepish about it. ] Um... if you don't want to talk about it, though, that's okay. [ She lifts one hand to her cheek, hugging her poster with the other and glancing askance. ] I think I kind of get how you feel.

[it's the kind of humor (or lack thereof, in this situation) that works fine with his bros, but not what he wants to get into with a teenage girl. he's not that bad of a guy.]
Pretty sure we're mostly in the same situation, anyway. These posters aren't doing anyone any favors.

I hadn't thought about it that way. It's still mean, but .... as much as I don't like it, I can't say most of the things on here are actually wrong. [ Embarrassed and concerned at once as she admits it. ] I really don't get the bounty, though.
