CURRENT POPULATION: 40 It's a rather quaint town when you get down to it. At least, that's what the Sheriff would argue. Warm and dry in the mornings and afternoons with a brisk coolness in the evenings. The perfect type of weather to just sit out on your rocking chair and observe the comings and goings. ... Of course, there's not much in the way of comings and goings when there aren't any actual people here to watch. Nevertheless, don't let that get you down! The town is your oyster and those roosters won't stop crowing until everyone's out of bed. Up and at 'em, rise and shine, it's time to make the day yours! After all, there's nothing wrong with the town today and you might just want to savor it while it lasts. This post functions as the general mingle post for the week. I never knew the exact reason. Perhaps it's because we are treasures that would benefit their enemy?

[ Shrug. The good guys found them, so that's what counts. Suck it, aggressive time police. ]

I guess being here is also a kidnapping, isn't it.

And probably for the same reason. We're of some value to them if the Sheriff's right. [...a sigh.] But yeah, this is definitely a kidnapping unless some of us really did sign up to be here.

[ He shakes his head and sounds more exasperated. ]

Who wants to die like this, for the satisfaction of people we don't even know? I doubt anyone wants to kill for just that reason either.

The problem is that people really don't want the first thing, so they might try to justify the last thing. [Killing to survive? He doesn't like it, but it's a thought.] The only other choice is for everybody not to kill and then we're stuck here for...ever, I guess.

Yes, I'm sure that people would follow that reasoning, and maybe have done it already before this.

[ Higekiri's own answer if he'd do it would be "yes" because he does have the will to survive, but Percy is young! Also kid you've been through a lot if that poster is any indication. ]

[The question surprises him. It's obvious that it surprises him and for a moment he's not sure what to make of that.]

Yeah, definitely. Why? [There's a small, unsure grin.] I'm not going to let somebody take me out that easily.

[It's easier this way, he thinks. Percy's had the will to survive and the drive to fight for years, moreso since discovering his parentage. He doesn't think much of his own poster at this rate. It is what it is.]
