It's a rather quaint town when you get down to it. At least, that's what the Sheriff would argue. Warm and dry in the mornings and afternoons with a brisk coolness in the evenings. The perfect type of weather to just sit out on your rocking chair and observe the comings and goings.
... Of course, there's not much in the way of comings and goings when there aren't any actual people here to watch. Nevertheless, don't let that get you down! The town is your oyster and those roosters won't stop crowing until everyone's out of bed. Up and at 'em, rise and shine, it's time to make the day yours!
Except there is, perhaps, a few things amiss.

Monday
[Better be straight]
It's basically a torture implement.

... oh. I ... but what about the jail? I thought... [ A beat, and she looks at Tarvek again. ] Do you think this is what Sheriff Hal meant when he talked about consequences?

[Tarvek starts touching the stocks, trying to find any signs of damage or weaknesses. It's very sturdy, anyone being placed here would be helpless]
He could make anyone stand here for hours, maybe a full day. It's once another reason to make sure not to unnecessarily make him angry.
no subject
It's not like I plan to.
[ There's something in her voice, something almost ... annoyed. ]
no subject
I'm not insinuating you'd do something to upset him for no reason at all! I just--
[Agh. Instead he shut ups, intending to change topics before he verbally digs a hole for himself]
Speaking of matters that'd make the Sheriff angry, we all should start thinking a way to open up the boarded-up places without risking our lives and health. There's a couple places that'd come useful for us as a group if we can get in them.

But then he moves on before she can say anything, so... okay. Maybe she'll bring it up later...
Her mouth pulls to one side as she considers. ]
Has anyone asked him about it? I mean, opening them up for us.
no subject
[Tarvek has talked about the Sheriff already, and although he's relatively approachable, doing stuff for everyone's benefit may be a tad too much to ask directly.
Some sort of alternate way may be needed, so while he waits for Xion's opinion Tarvek starts thinking of some way]

I mean, I'm sure he'd listen to us. But he might not be able to agree to help. [ She presses a hand to her cheek. ] At that point... we'd just have to do our best. Still, it couldn't hurt to ask first.
[ She means break in. If someone needs medical attention then she'd rather risk breaking in to get the supplies. ]

[The simplest solution may work best, for all he knows]
The suggestion box! It'd be worth a try before we risk our wellbeing by breaking into a building. It'd be easy to convince a majority to vote for this.

[Do Tarvek and Xion even know they're both in the Hero Club I dunno welp]
no subject
[ they're both about to find out, at least ]
We should ask Yuna, though. She could help us organize it!

I'm a part of the club too! Signing up was an impulsive thing to do, but I'm willing to commit to the tasks.
[What a liar. When are you going to stop doing stuff for your own underhanded purposes, Tarvek?]
Yuna is doing an excellent job as the leader, she'll know how we should do this.

[ Tarvek seems like a good person to her. She's glad... that he joined, too. ]
Okay! Let's go find her.
