WEEK TWO

CURRENT POPULATION: 40 It's a rather quaint town when you get down to it. At least, that's what the Sheriff would argue. Warm and dry in the mornings and afternoons with a brisk coolness in the evenings. The perfect type of weather to just sit out on your rocking chair and observe the comings and goings. ... Of course, there's not much in the way of comings and goings when there aren't any actual people here to watch. Nevertheless, don't let that get you down! The town is your oyster and those roosters won't stop crowing until everyone's out of bed. Up and at 'em, rise and shine, it's time to make the day yours! Except there is, perhaps, a few things amiss. This post functions as the general mingle post for the week. Wanted Posters and other small events will be posted in top levels below. Hn... I don't know how anyone can. I'd much rather wake up on my own floor rather than the one here.

[ Normally she'd cover herself and just say her bed, without the entire "mentioning how she sometimes ends up awake on the floor" thing. ]

[ It's an odd way to put it, and Hannibal's brow briefly comes together. He pauses, almost wondering if he misheard her, but he just asks further, albeit somewhat hesitantly. ]

...Have you been sleeping on the floor?

[ because if so he kind of sees the problem here ]

[glaring]

Ah—! No, of course not!

[ ...she's busted. ]

Not on purpose, at least...!

[sating]

[ ...Ah. He thinks he understands, and it gets his expression to quirk into a small smile. It's probably rude to tease, considering he doesn't know her beyond a name on a poster, but. He also can't help it in this case, so he inclines his head lightly. ]

Ah, then only a restless sleeper. I suppose it's good that the beds aren't very high, in that case?

[glaring]

Mmn, if I have to find one good thing about this place, that'd be it.

[ Well, at least she's pretty much fully awake now. ]

Do you happen to know what time it is?

[sating]

[ His smile quirks just a bit more, as if he's trying to hold back a laugh. Because, well. He might be. But he doesn't speak to whether this is a good or bad thing about the town. He holds his arm in in a gesture to move his sleeve back so he can look at the watch on his wrist. And I'm going to make up a time, so hopefully that's fine laughs ]

11:06 AM. You've still managed the morning, though not for very long.

Fifty-four minutes is cutting the embarrassment level a bit close, it's true.
