WEEK TWO

CURRENT POPULATION: 40 It's a rather quaint town when you get down to it. At least, that's what the Sheriff would argue. Warm and dry in the mornings and afternoons with a brisk coolness in the evenings. The perfect type of weather to just sit out on your rocking chair and observe the comings and goings. ... Of course, there's not much in the way of comings and goings when there aren't any actual people here to watch. Nevertheless, don't let that get you down! The town is your oyster and those roosters won't stop crowing until everyone's out of bed. Up and at 'em, rise and shine, it's time to make the day yours! Except there is, perhaps, a few things amiss. This post functions as the general mingle post for the week. Wanted Posters and other small events will be posted in top levels below. Huh? What... do you mean?

[ Xion's still worrying about how to look after anyone who gets trapped here (which will be relevant in a few days, JASON TODD), but that last statement gets her to look over in some confusion and concern. ]

Well...people get locked here. We don't know how long they're stuck outside, it puts them in a way too vulnerable place. [I.e. it's the perfect way to get killed.]

Besides, you heard the Sheriff. His employers are watching us. Maybe they come out at night when we're all in the hotel and that's why nobody's ever seen them.

[ Xion frowns. She happens to know that not everyone has been staying at the hotel, but isn't sure if she should explain that much. ]

Do you think it's worth the risk ... to stay out and watch, one night?

[hydrokinetics]

...maybe. If we stay just outside of the hotel? The Sheriff said the doors only lock on Thursdays, right? If we pick a night not-Thursday to watch maybe we'll get an idea of what's going on.

[ Xion nods quickly. ]

Yeah! If we're together, we can protect each other, too. I think we should do it!

[hydrokinetics]

It can't hurt. We should make sure we get people who can fight back if something goes wrong though.

[ quite insistent about that, even. ]

... can you? [ she doesn't know, okay ]

Yeah, maybe a little. [:)] I'm starting to wonder how many people actually can around here.

Yeah... I guess there's at least a few of us. I wonder why that is.

Could be a coincidence, or it could be that his employers hand-picked us knowing we'd be entertaining to watch as the weeks go on. People who know how to fight most likely aren't going to just lay down and die.
