CURRENT POPULATION: 35 It's a rather quaint town when you get down to it. At least, that's what the Sheriff would argue. Warm and dry in the mornings and afternoons with a brisk coolness in the evenings. The perfect type of weather to just sit out on your rocking chair and observe the comings and goings. ... Of course, there's not much in the way of comings and goings when there aren't any actual people here to watch. Nevertheless, don't let that get you down! The town is your oyster and those roosters won't stop crowing until everyone's out of bed. Up and at 'em, rise and shine, it's time to make the day yours! Except there is, perhaps, a few things amiss. This post functions as the general mingle post for the week. Wanted Posters and other small events will be posted in top levels below. From Mr. Sheriff's ass? No, really, I have no idea. Wherever all of our food is coming from—unless you're asking me why I think pizzas have suddenly popped up in the store.

Way to make this way less appetizing. [But he shakes his head.] I wanted to see how legitimate the box was. So I asked for pizza.

[He can actually understand the life of roughing it out, considering that you can't exactly bring cooking supplies on a labyrinth raid, but ehhhhh, no one needs to know that.]

... Really? You asked for pizza? Though it's nice to know Mr. Sheriff likes you more than me.

Yup. You start small to see if they're capable and then work your way up. [But he makes a face.] I don't think it's about the Sheriff liking me more than anybody. I'm pretty sure I'm still on his watchlist.

[The Sheriff is a rude jerk, the end.] Knowing that he can deliver, it's worth checking out what else he can do.

Well, that's true. What's next on your list, then?

I asked him the wrong questions. Sheriff's pretty touchy if you start questioning too much. As much as I hate to say it it's all about knowing how to talk to balance it. Annabeth's better at it than I am.

As for what's next...haven't decided yet. Probably something that can benefit everybody. Any ideas?

Okay, so a bunch of idiots and you as a different kind of idiot. [He rolls his eyes.] Same question. What would benefit us right now?

Flashlights or something like that? Of course, those could also be unhelpful to us in the wrong hands.

Everything could be unhelpful to us in the wrong hands, just don't give anything to, like, Nui. [Flashlights makes sense though.] If murders are really going to be a weekly thing maybe we should focus on stuff we can use to help figure it out.

[A pause.] You said you were going to start taking pictures of the bodies and the crime scenes right?

[insincerely]

[He nods.]

Yeah, provided I can.

That's what was waiting for you here? A camera? [Or something else, though he's mostly just curious.]

Close enough—my cellphone.

And how're you keeping it charged?

[insincerely]

I've only used it to take a couple of photos, but otherwise I've kept it turned off. Not like I'm going to be receiving any calls in this place, right?

[hydrokinetics]

Not yet. [He wouldn't be surprised by anything by now.] I don't even have a phone so I wasn't sure what your battery life was like.

It's served me pretty well up until now, so I wouldn't be too concerned. I can make it last.

A generator might not be a bad idea now that I think about it. If we had that, we could probably get some minor tools and stuff to work with that run on power.

Think he'd really give us something like that, though?

At this point the worst he can do is say no. Even the pieces of a generator and we figure out how to make it ourselves would be fine, we have a few technical people here.
