[ WEEK THREE ]

WEEK THREE

CURRENT POPULATION: 35

It's a rather quaint town when you get down to it. At least, that's what the Sheriff would argue. Warm and dry in the mornings and afternoons with a brisk coolness in the evenings. The perfect type of weather to just sit out on your rocking chair and observe the comings and goings.

... Of course, there's not much in the way of comings and goings when there aren't any actual people here to watch. Nevertheless, don't let that get you down! The town is your oyster and those roosters won't stop crowing until everyone's out of bed. Up and at 'em, rise and shine, it's time to make the day yours!

Except there is, perhaps, a few things amiss.

This post functions as the general mingle post for the week. Wanted Posters and other small events will be posted in top levels below. If there's any questions or requests, please send a PM or shoot a PP to [plurk.com profile] robowest.

[Milla's thoughts exactly]

That's true, though I think it unlikely that Ocelot and the other individual's deaths are related to the game. It isn't the night murders are rewarded, after all.

But I cannot say that for certain.

[someone could be going around killing for kicks, not for reward]

The only thing I can think of is if the two new victims were witnesses to something... ahh, but I doubt that we'll find that out anytime soon.

[ the for kicks thing isn't completely absurd, unfortunately. ]

But a witness to. . . what? A murder?

[that wouldn't make sense. . . everyone else is accounted for, and if they had witnessed Manfred's murder, certainly one would've spoken up during the trial, right??]

Doesn't have to be a murder. Could be something related to one of the roles, or something the Sheriff's employers didn't want anyone seeing.

[He sounds unsure, though.]

Lots of people get offed for being at the wrong place, at the wrong time.

[furrows her brows, a frown tugging down the corners of her mouth]

It's difficult to say at this point. We simply don't have enough information to come to a firm conclusion.

[He sighs.]

I know. We don't Still a possibility, though. Might as well bring it up now just in case we get better info later.

Of course.

It's only frustrating that we don't have the evidence to find answers now, isn't it?

That's pretty true... [that people get offed like that, that is] ... though I'm not too sure about the second possibility. It seems a little weird that with how all-powerful Mr. Sheriff's employers are, they'd so easily leave around "something they don't want anyone seeing".

Could do it for the shits and giggles. Anything goes as long as it's entertaining, remember? But you're right. [Shrugging.] It's less likely that they'd leave something like that around so easily.

Probably not that specifically, but maybe they saw something related to one.

[ A small sigh. ]

Or they were just taken out for fun. I'm not sure what seems more likely, now. Somebody seems to enjoy watching people kill, otherwise we wouldn't be here.

And it's clear we have a few people in our group who enjoy killing for fun.

[she speaks of the terrifying pink]

I'm hoping they're just exaggerating themselves, but we can't really afford to think so.

We can't, although we can't pre-judge them either.

[sighs]

We'll have to wait until we're able to find more evidence.
