It's a rather quaint town when you get down to it. At least, that's what the Sheriff would argue. Warm and dry in the mornings and afternoons with a brisk coolness in the evenings. The perfect type of weather to just sit out on your rocking chair and observe the comings and goings.
... Of course, there's not much in the way of comings and goings when there aren't any actual people here to watch. Nevertheless, don't let that get you down! The town is your oyster and those roosters won't stop crowing until everyone's out of bed. Up and at 'em, rise and shine, it's time to make the day yours!
Except there is, perhaps, a few things amiss.
This post functions as the general mingle post for the week. Wanted Posters and other small events will be posted in top levels below. If there's any questions or requests, please send a PM or shoot a PP to robowest. |

[since the Sheriff did say that his employers had ran some 300 or so rounds of this murder game before]
That possibility crossed my mind. The mines were very dark-- they could have stumbled into it on accident.

[Though if they're using the same location every time—which they could be, he isn't sure—then maybe that area hasn't always been a mine. Regardless, unless the skeletons are a clue to this all, he doesn't know if it really matters.]
If that's the case, then they really are a bunch of morons.
[Sorry, Shinnosuke has no qualms about speaking ill of the dead.]

[trails off!! "the mines may not have always been the mines" is implicit in her silence. at any rate, she shakes her head]
You're right, they are. Though I'd commend them for not going alone, I'd chastise them for not being more careful.
[MILLA HAS RESPECT FOR THE DEAD but. well. Shinnosuke told it like it was]

[Quickly, he takes out his phone and flips through his photos, double-checking one, before putting his phone away.]
Between stuff he said at trials and his poster, that Ocelot guy seemed like an experienced soldier. Not that even veterans can't screw up, but he wouldn't have been my first pick for people who'd be so careless in an expedition.
[So ultimately, he doesn't think it was actually an accident, unless something seriously went wrong.]

I had only spoken to him once or twice, so I'll take your word for that one. As we stand now, I think we have too little to go on to say for certain what happened to those two in the mines.

That's right. Just like everything we've investigated.
