The town is quiet, eerily so. All animals, all chatter, all gusts of wind have come to a complete stop this morning. A tumbleweed passes by through the center of town and the rocking chair on the Sheriff's porch sways but remains silent. Everything is muted and as the door of the hotel opens, the only sensation that rings utterly true today is this:
One of your own is gone.
And now, as the rules state, it is your job to discover their fate.

Making her way over is painstaking - it's slow and requires a lot of hopping - and once she makes it to him, she has to grasp his sleeve to keep her balance.

As it is she ends up wildly pinwheeling her arms until she can regain balance on her one, single good foot. Since it SURE WOULD SUCK IF SHE FELL DOWN ON HER BROKEN LEG AND BROKE IT WORSE, HUH, SHINNOSUKE? ]
Scaredy cat! [ she calls after him, annoyed beyond belief. ]
