The town is quiet, eerily so. All animals, all chatter, all gusts of wind have come to a complete stop this morning. A tumbleweed passes by through the center of town and the rocking chair on the Sheriff's porch sways but remains silent. Everything is muted and as the door of the hotel opens, the only sensation that rings utterly true today is this:
One of your own is gone.
And now, as the rules state, it is your job to discover their fate.

When we arrived, we heard birds and saw something on the dock... and when we went over, it was her. Head? And then when we actually looked around, we saw everything else just floating.
[ she is?? obviously ready to be able to stop talking about this but barnham gave her the job of Explaining, so ]
I saw something in the water, so we went in and found Simon tied to a rock on the bottom. We got them both out? But there was nothing else.
[ YOU'RE DOING GOOD, JUST HOLD OUT A LITTLE LONGER. ]
...I'm sorry for putting you through so many questions, but I want to know before we go into the trial. [ Gently patting her on the head. ] Did you happen to notice if the wounds were anything like our other victims? The old man was killed by a sword, wasn't he?
Maybe more like... Riku's? I didn't get to see what his [ head ] look like though. But um, it sounds like it would have been more like that than the old guy's.
