The town is quiet, eerily so. All animals, all chatter, all gusts of wind have come to a complete stop this morning. A tumbleweed passes by through the center of town and the rocking chair on the Sheriff's porch sways but remains silent. Everything is muted and as the door of the hotel opens, the only sensation that rings utterly true today is this: One of your own is gone. And now, as the rules state, it is your job to discover their fate. Welcome to the investigation post! If your character decides to search an area, please post the name of the location in your header and wait for the mod replies. Anything to discover or not to will be indicated during the course of the thread. After the body is discovered, an announcement will be made and characters are free to spend the rest of the afternoons how they like. [she picks up the pace, wincing a bit as the extra speed aggravates her injuries, to meet them halfway.]

[. . . Shinnosuke's still locked in the stocks cuz Milla's rude]

I'm sorry I worried you, Xion. I'm okay, though, and we're here so don't worry anymore.

[But in the meantime, here comes Milla, and Yuna beams, shifting to hold her less-awful arm up and wave even as Percy's carrying her.]

Milla! You're here! Aaah, be careful... [And then she ill-advisedly leans sideways to make sure she can see Shinnosuke, too.] Shinnosuke-kun! You're still here! I'm so happy you guys are safe...

[oh no she's tearing up. she's gonna cry. almost dying wasn't an issue but she's so excited to see them all alive at once that she's getting all misty oh no]

[... Shit, that sure sounds like a pure calling out to him. Shinnosuke can't really do anything, seeing as how he's STILL IN THE STOCKS, but damn it, at this rate he's going to have to thank Yuna in person.
