It's a rather quaint town when you get down to it. At least, that's what the Sheriff would argue. Warm and dry in the mornings and afternoons with a brisk coolness in the evenings. The perfect type of weather to just sit out on your rocking chair and observe the comings and goings.
... Of course, there's not much in the way of comings and goings when there aren't any actual people here to watch. Nevertheless, don't let that get you down! The town is your oyster and those roosters won't stop crowing until everyone's out of bed. Up and at 'em, rise and shine, it's time to make the day yours!
After all, there's nothing wrong with the town today and you might just want to savor it while it lasts.

She doesn't leave, though. No, she picks up her stride just enough to stand in front of him so, at his current trajectory, he'll walk straight into her.
And, hopefully, stop. ]

Trips.
Over her.
Landing in the dirt.
Winston looks a little surprised but doesn't say anything, just sniffs at Will's still sleeping form and sits next to him, looking up at Chane. Oh no, what now. ]
no subject
No, just kidding. He's getting slung over her shoulder like a sack of potatoes, getting her dress dirty in the process. :( She moves quickly, knowing her body will tire from all the extra weight in a few minutes and he doesn't need to be dropped in the dirt twice.
Come on, Winston. ]

But Will might be embarrassed if he knew this was happening. As it is, he continues to sleep even as he's directed in another direction. Though, his footsteps will start to instinctively head the way Chane is leading because, well. He's only asleep, not dead.
Winston follow dutifully, of course. ]

Kneeling down in front of Winston, she tries to mime something. First, gesturing to Will, and then moving her pointer and middle finger in a walking motion across the air - then, gesturing to Winston and... gently biting her own hand. What she's trying to get across is the dog should bite Will - softly! - if he starts to move again. But, knowing that it's unlikely the dog understood any of her bizarre gesticulations, she sighs soundlessly and stands.
Well, hopefully Will will stay there. Chane risks absenting herself for just a moment, peeking into the kitchen to see if Hannibal is in there. ]

Hannibal is not in the kitchen though. Who knows where Hannibal is? He's somewhere, whatever. Will, on the other hand, seems to be rolling over in his sleep --
And off the couch.
He lands on the floor pretty hard then groans. ]
Wha--
[ Someone's awake! ]

Maybe she should have... left him on the carpet instead? No, that's ridiculous. Carpets are dirty. People walk on them.
Well, whatever. Good morning, Will! Chane wastes little time helping him up, or trying to.
Goddamn, dude. ]

He is also still super half-asleep, rubbing at his eyes and yawning. ]
Chane. [ Wait. Is this really her? ] ... Am I awake?

Despite looking a little bewildered, she gives a clear nod. And then, for good measure, she lightly taps him in the forehead - if he can feel that, then he's awake! It's like pinching but not nearly as irritating in its final form. ]
