[ WEEK SIX ]

WEEK SIX

CURRENT POPULATION: 14

It's a rather quaint town when you get down to it. At least, that's what the Sheriff would argue. Warm and dry in the mornings and afternoons with a brisk coolness in the evenings. The perfect type of weather to just sit out on your rocking chair and observe the comings and goings.

... Of course, there's not much in the way of comings and goings when there aren't any actual people here to watch. Nevertheless, don't let that get you down! The town is your oyster and those roosters won't stop crowing until everyone's out of bed. Up and at 'em, rise and shine, it's time to make the day yours!

After all, there's nothing wrong with the town today and you might just want to savor it while it lasts.

This post functions as the general mingle post for the week. Wanted Posters and other small events will be posted in top levels below. If there's any questions or requests, please send a PM or shoot a PP to [plurk.com profile] robowest.

You named the cow Bat-cow and your dad's name is Batman? [Look at that, Damian. There's a real smile because it's kind of funny? But also that's gross and he can understand that, despite the fact that Percy loves cheeseburgers. Sorry, kid.]

You did something good and Hal thinks it's a crime. That is really funny. She's still with you at home?

Yes. She stays in the Batcave [...listen.] with Titus, our dog, and Pennyworth.
hydrokinetics: (Id like to believe all the possibilities)

I guess "Batcat" would have sounded a little weird. [But he gets it.] And your dad's just fine with you keeping a cow in a cave. No big deal. Totally normal?

[He's only confused because he forgets not everyone understands how the stupid-ass Batcave works. Hell, even the people of Gotham don't understand how it works because they don't know it exists.] Yes.

There's ample space, and food is provided. The temperature is regulated.

Father wouldn't allow it to be kept inside.

It's a cave. Unless it's a lair? Man, whatever, I get it. At least he let you keep Bat-Cow at all.

[He lifts an eyebrow.] And the first-degree assault and vigilante justice are part of the family business?

It's at least not murder. [LOOK!!! LET HIM LIVE.] First-degree assault on criminals of exceptional nature is only illegal because the Court of Law still insists on declaring it so.

[GOD. Damian crosses his arms.] When father began as Batman, ninety percent of the Gotham precinct was full of criminals wearing uniforms.

He helped Lieutenant Gordon, now Commissioner, get rid of them in return for Gordon assisting him with information about high-risk criminals.

The people who hates us call us vigilantes. The people who thank us call us heroes.

Look, I already told you that all of the murder on my poster is on monsters who tried to kill me first. [Just a point.] I have absolutely no idea what you just said, but okay, first-degree assault usually okay, murder bad. I got it.

[However that's.] So...your system was corrupt, and your dad fixed it with this Gordon guy. In probably less than conventional ways. I think that's how people viewed people like me and Annabeth, too, even though we train to be heroes. It's all the same.
