 CURRENT POPULATION: 40
It's a rather quaint town when you get down to it. At least, that's what the Sheriff would argue. Warm and dry in the mornings and afternoons with a brisk coolness in the evenings. The perfect type of weather to just sit out on your rocking chair and observe the comings and goings.
... Of course, there's not much in the way of comings and goings when there aren't any actual people here to watch. Nevertheless, don't let that get you down! The town is your oyster and those roosters won't stop crowing until everyone's out of bed. Up and at 'em, rise and shine, it's time to make the day yours!
After all, there's nothing wrong with the town today and you might just want to savor it while it lasts.
This post functions as the general mingle post for the week. Wanted Posters and other small events will be posted in top levels below. If there's any questions or requests, please send a PM or shoot a PP to robowest. |
SHERIFF STATION
Talk to Ao
So, you're more than welcome to talk to her, even if she's quaking in her boots a little. ]

[ since you have to get into trouble to get into jail, usually.
papika poked at the cell, frowning. ]
no subject
I don't know.
[ Yikes!! ]
I woke up here and I, uhm. I can't seem to get out.

I'm really sorry. Normally I could help you, but...
[ A pause. ]
I'm sorry. Can we at least get something for you...?

Talk to Tiara
Wtf why is she in jail.
She's definitely a lot louder than Ao about this.]
I do not know what you think you are doing, but I demand that you release me this instant! I have not done anything wrong!
[Aaaaah.]
You there--if you please, can you help me out of here?
[Probably not, but it's worth a try, right.]
no subject
Thank goodness for Chane's trusty notepad and stubby pencil. A sheet of paper is held up for Tiara to read.

[Still, he feels for her. Neither of these girls look like they have any idea what's happening, or at least no more than the rest of them; he doesn't discount that they may be acting, but if there's any chance they can give each other some insight...]
[(Shit, why does he get the feeling he's walking into a trap?)]
[Hushed:] Don't worry; we'll figure something out. First, can you tell me the last thing you remember?

How— ["how did you get here" is probably not the place to start, a moment of reassessment, and then:] Why are you locked up like this?
[there's at least enough urgency to his tone to imply that he doesn't want to be complacent about this when literally everyone else seems to be walking free in this town.]

[And Yuna immediately sets to work trying to haul the door open, with predictable results. She prods and pokes and tugs at the lock, which also goes exactly as well as you'd expect.

I can't really say that prison breaks are my style, but I'm interested in your story. Well, it depends on how fast I can find some dynamite or keys - whichever comes first. [ Somehow that doesn't matter to him. ]
You're probably wondering why I trust you so easily, right? Well, the truth is I don't know whether you're guilty or not, but...
[ A pause. ]
...hm. Well, I don't want to frighten you, but you'll be judged by something far worse if you're a dishonest person. [ That still sounds scary. ] Do you still wish to leave your cozy cell?
