The town is quiet, eerily so. All animals, all chatter, all gusts of wind have come to a complete stop this morning. A tumbleweed passes by through the center of town and the rocking chair on the Sheriff's porch sways but remains silent. Everything is muted and as the door of the hotel opens, the only sensation that rings utterly true today is this:

One of your own is gone.

And now, as the rules state, it is your job to discover their fate.

I ... everything's quiet. Like ... weirdly quiet. There's no sounds at all. I think... something must have happened. We should--

[ what. who is this guy. why is he calling noct's cute dog a beast. Xion pulls up short, eyes flaring wide with surprise, and then she frowns and ... ignores him, looking at Noct. ]

Let's go upstairs. I don't want to intrude on anyone's privacy, but there might be something to see around everyone's rooms.

[ he's a rude boy, that's who he is. He gives Xion a passing glance, then looks back to Noct as he speaks, though he moves to go up the stairs, as well. ]

Did you listen to what that "sheriff" said? One of us dies each week. And this is the end of the first one. What happened is obvious.

Well, they're on the second floor. Any doors open? Anything out of place? ]
