The town is quiet, eerily so. All animals, all chatter, all gusts of wind have come to a complete stop this morning. A tumbleweed passes by through the center of town and the rocking chair on the Sheriff's porch sways but remains silent. Everything is muted and as the door of the hotel opens, the only sensation that rings utterly true today is this: One of your own is gone. And now, as the rules state, it is your job to discover their fate. Welcome to the investigation post! If your character decides to search an area, please post the name of the location in your header and wait for mod replies. Anything to discover will be indicated during the course of the thread. After the body is discovered, an announcement will be made and characters are free to spend the rest of the afternoons how they like. Boarded-up Stores

Which means there aren't any signs of entry. ]

[ Stares at the signs out of curiosity, but aside from that, he's good. ]

I forgot to grab food from the store while we were there, I'm sorry-!

["may have shared" being the key phrase. everyone else can deal with blood and corpses, Milla just wants her breakfast back :(]

[she slows down once he trips, and casually strolls up to his side. instead of bending down to pick up her bag of chips, she just. looks down on him. and shakes her head]

[ Somewhere, Higekiri's brother and Rieze Maxia's summon spirits are shaking their head.

Getting up, nothing's injured but he's certainly dusty. He does bow formally in penance for Milla. ]

[silently judging. she's used to people bowing at her formally, so all she does is fold her arms and nod. a symbol that his apology is accepted]

Why don't we head back to the general store? There didn't seem to be anything amiss there, so we can both treat ourselves to breakfast.
