The town is quiet, eerily so. All animals, all chatter, all gusts of wind have come to a complete stop this morning. A tumbleweed passes by through the center of town and the rocking chair on the Sheriff's porch sways but remains silent. Everything is muted and as the door of the hotel opens, the only sensation that rings utterly true today is this:
One of your own is gone.
And now, as the rules state, it is your job to discover their fate.

In other words... they got a bunch of skeletons and abducted us specifically because we resemble them, or somewhere along those lines? I'm a shitty guy, and even that's pretty weird by my standards.

I wouldn't name the robot Hal either but that's not the point. Somebody went through the effort of finding a double of that girl and maybe doubles of us. Or we're the doubles? I don't know. Too bad we can't figure out how long she's been buried.
Yeah. I mean, other than "a long time"—unless the skeleton's been somewhere else until recently—but that's only so helpful. I don't suppose anyone here has super autopsy skills?
I'm wondering the same thing. [And he looks a little startled suddenly.] We haven't confirmed where Rin is. When was the last time anybody saw her? I've never spoken to her.
Not a clue. We should probably learn all of that information for the future if this happens again. Let's start asking around, see what we can come up with.
Well, I can say right now that my roommate is Simon, who's easily recognizable because he keeps a molesting monkey with him. But yeah, sounds good to me.
