It's a rather quaint town when you get down to it. At least, that's what the Sheriff would argue. Warm and dry in the mornings and afternoons with a brisk coolness in the evenings. The perfect type of weather to just sit out on your rocking chair and observe the comings and goings.
... Of course, there's not much in the way of comings and goings when there aren't any actual people here to watch. Nevertheless, don't let that get you down! The town is your oyster and those roosters won't stop crowing until everyone's out of bed. Up and at 'em, rise and shine, it's time to make the day yours!
Except there is, perhaps, a few things amiss.
This post functions as the general mingle post for the week. Wanted Posters and other small events will be posted in top levels below. If there's any questions or requests, please send a PM or shoot a PP to robowest.
That's still an important subject. [But fuck, whatever, fine.] People were looking around town for bugs or cameras when we first got here and we didn't find anything.
[...hm.] A lot of hotels have surveillance cameras don't they? Security purposes and stuff.
If we didn't find anything earlier, our chances of finding something now aren't great... but then again, I wouldn't have thought that this thing would just be plopped on Mr. Sheriff's porch, so who knows?
That's kind of how I feel about it, too. We looked everywhere and found nothing, and now this is totally obvious. If that's not sketchy I don't know what is.
Sounds like we're really keeping it though. Maybe we'll get answers in the morning.
Also a definite possibility, unfortunately. Under that logic—well, pretending that what he said wasn't incredibly vague—we probably wouldn't see anything on that camera that we weren't "supposed" to, right?
I don't know. I'm not sure how literal we can take his word for anything, but at least we know for a fact that the camera can see all of us.
[I'm really sorry for this, Jan And for a moment he's quiet.] Have you guys tried rotating through the next and back buttons since you brought it into the hotel?
Just checking. We're still no closer to deciding what to do with the thing either, but if it's watching inside the hotel...all it could do is show us if somebody crawls out a window, I think. Our rooms lock in a few hours.

But yeah, sounds about right.

Maybe. I'm hoping not, but maybe.

Well, if people want to use this camera to prevent any more murders from happening, we do need to consider how Mr. Sheriff might react to that.
The road to hell is paved with good intentions, etc.

Hmm? I tried it out again with Rin in the kitchen since she wanted to check, which involved me pressing the buttons again, if that's what you mean.

Yeah, that's what I meant. Still showed everything in the hotel, right?
