It's a rather quaint town when you get down to it. At least, that's what the Sheriff would argue. Warm and dry in the mornings and afternoons with a brisk coolness in the evenings. The perfect type of weather to just sit out on your rocking chair and observe the comings and goings.
... Of course, there's not much in the way of comings and goings when there aren't any actual people here to watch. Nevertheless, don't let that get you down! The town is your oyster and those roosters won't stop crowing until everyone's out of bed. Up and at 'em, rise and shine, it's time to make the day yours!
Except there is, perhaps, a few things amiss.

It was brought up in the last trial about figuring out who came from the same world as the old man [i.e. poor dead Manfred] so it reminded me that I was curious.
I spoke to Percy, and we both come from "Earth", but he didn't recognize the disease. However, in the world I know, it's just about impossible not to be aware of it. In other words, it's probably the easiest way to determine if we're from the same place.
[And to be honest, he might act a tad differently if he knew that anyone from his world was here.]

That's clever. Have you found anyone else here who's from your world?

Hm. Is this what a fever feels like?

Could you not do that?

[nod nod she has learned something new]
And you're right, but checking for a fever seems to be the most common course of action when one realizes someone might be sick.
