It's a rather quaint town when you get down to it. At least, that's what the Sheriff would argue. Warm and dry in the mornings and afternoons with a brisk coolness in the evenings. The perfect type of weather to just sit out on your rocking chair and observe the comings and goings.
... Of course, there's not much in the way of comings and goings when there aren't any actual people here to watch. Nevertheless, don't let that get you down! The town is your oyster and those roosters won't stop crowing until everyone's out of bed. Up and at 'em, rise and shine, it's time to make the day yours!
After all, there's nothing wrong with the town today and you might just want to savor it while it lasts.

Well, it just happens, you know? You meet people who are really good at a certain thing, or who have traits you admire... or you work closely with someone for a long time and respect naturally develops.
For example, I sort of respect you. Because you're always doing your best in the trials, even though you're rude to me a lot during them!

[Run away now, Sei.]
For instance, you should question the doctor that you see, because I'm pretty sure "feminitis" is a bullshit diagnosis.
[He's pretty sure that there was no such term in historical Japan????]

Matsumoto-sensei is one of the shogunate's most respected doctors! Don't you dare disrespect him!
[also don't call her out on being a girl
please]

Whoa, how scary. You're very touchy, aren't you?
no subject
[Well she can't exactly say no because she absolutely is, but admitting it is also embarrassing.]
I'm exactly the right amount of touchy!
[god]
Anyone would be upset if they heard someone disparaging someone that they respected!

... Out of curiosity, did your doctor also diagnose you with an acute case of Goody-Two-Shoesitis?
