It's a rather quaint town when you get down to it. At least, that's what the Sheriff would argue. Warm and dry in the mornings and afternoons with a brisk coolness in the evenings. The perfect type of weather to just sit out on your rocking chair and observe the comings and goings.
... Of course, there's not much in the way of comings and goings when there aren't any actual people here to watch. Nevertheless, don't let that get you down! The town is your oyster and those roosters won't stop crowing until everyone's out of bed. Up and at 'em, rise and shine, it's time to make the day yours!
After all, there's nothing wrong with the town today and you might just want to savor it while it lasts.

Indeed, of course that is the case. Forgive me--there is someone who I...have had the misfortune of running into a few times in my world. He is an intolerable drunkard.

[No wall punching.]
There is no time for that.
[Broken hands, he means.]

[no wall punching or broken hands. but still, he sighs quietly, and then under his breath.]
...Dammit.

[Right now...? He can only really agree.
Dammit seems about right for this entire situation.]

Probably the wrong time of day to say "I could use a drink," huh? [all whole ass is good for is driving people towards alcoholism.
(okay, it's definitely not that bad, and he probably won't even do it. but it sure is appealing.)]

I am beginning to think there is no "wrong time of day" for such a thing here.
[... And then he shudders, and mutters:]
I am becoming all too similar to someone I would prefer to forget.

[so he doesn't think this is barnham problem, or like a "changing for the worse" thing, just.
a coping mechanism?
it's not like a normal situation where they're less helpless; this place forces them to take hits over and over until it breaks them down.]

[...Ugh]
Amongst other things.
[he really hates that guy]

[well.] Intolerable. Not sure about the drunkard part.
[but boy!! does noct have people who he feels are intolerable and running into them ever is a misfortune, just sayin'.]
