It's a rather quaint town when you get down to it. At least, that's what the Sheriff would argue. Warm and dry in the mornings and afternoons with a brisk coolness in the evenings. The perfect type of weather to just sit out on your rocking chair and observe the comings and goings.
... Of course, there's not much in the way of comings and goings when there aren't any actual people here to watch. Nevertheless, don't let that get you down! The town is your oyster and those roosters won't stop crowing until everyone's out of bed. Up and at 'em, rise and shine, it's time to make the day yours!
After all, there's nothing wrong with the town today and you might just want to savor it while it lasts.

[It is. There's a charm to this place. It's much less grandiose than Columbia, while still retaining some key characteristics. Even if they don't know where they are exactly, it must be a place inspired by America.]
I'm from Sanshu. [Which is a (fictional) city but she doesn't feel the need to be broader than that...] I go to the middle school there. [And that's usually part of her introduction spiel so she adds with a polite little bow—] By the way, my name is Yuna Yuki!
Sanshu? I've never heard of such a place, what part of the world is it in?
[This is strange, Elizabeth is very familiar with geography, to the point where she has coordinates memorized, but Sanshu rings no bells. Is there a chance this is a world where a new land was discovered? Or maybe an land she was familiar with was taken by someone else.]
It's nice to meet you, my name's Elizabeth.
[She bows back, if this girl has customs unknown to her she doesn't want to be rude.]

[She repeats it several times to herself, trying to think of where this could be. She's never read about it specifically, but name sounds specific to a region.]
That doesn't sound western , is there a chance you're from the east?
(ooc: I'm assuming books in 1912 wouldn't go into prefectures of Japan???)

If you don't mind me asking, where are you from?

[always with the formalities... she tilts her head a little, though, at Elizabeth's question, ever-friendly but maybe just a little confused.]
It's kind of at the south of Kagawa... It's near the west coast!
[why so specific yuna]
