It's a rather quaint town when you get down to it. At least, that's what the Sheriff would argue. Warm and dry in the mornings and afternoons with a brisk coolness in the evenings. The perfect type of weather to just sit out on your rocking chair and observe the comings and goings.
... Of course, there's not much in the way of comings and goings when there aren't any actual people here to watch. Nevertheless, don't let that get you down! The town is your oyster and those roosters won't stop crowing until everyone's out of bed. Up and at 'em, rise and shine, it's time to make the day yours!
After all, there's nothing wrong with the town today and you might just want to savor it while it lasts.
This post functions as the general mingle post for the week. Wanted Posters and other small events will be posted in top levels below. If there's any questions or requests, please send a PM or shoot a PP to robowest. |

No, really.
Anyone who is up late enough will see a barefoot, booty shorted sight as Will Graham finds himself sleepwalking through the middle of town. He also seems pretty dirty, like he's already been to the Homestead (which you can find him there) but might be making his way back to town (please don't let him fall in a hole). It'd be hilarious, if it wasn't so sad.
At least Winston is following him the whole time. What a good boy. ]
tuesday, saloon.
Like, way too much.
Like, enough that after a while his head just sort of drops to the table and it's unclear if he's sleeping or just sort of stewing in his own misery.
God, someone help Will Graham. ]
wildcard.
monday night.
What do you even do with a sleepwalker?
Yeah, he's going to have two followers now. (Hey, Winston. Are we friends yet?) As soon as she determines where he's heading, she'll figure out what to do next. ]

Winston at least looks pleased to see Chane, sniffing at her hand and giving it a friendly lick before continuing to follow Will.
Will, meanwhile, is taking slow careful steps to the Homestead. His facial expression doesn't change an inch even as twigs continue to press into his feet. Just a steady blankness here. ]

She doesn't leave, though. No, she picks up her stride just enough to stand in front of him so, at his current trajectory, he'll walk straight into her.
And, hopefully, stop. ]

Trips.
Over her.
Landing in the dirt.
Winston looks a little surprised but doesn't say anything, just sniffs at Will's still sleeping form and sits next to him, looking up at Chane. Oh no, what now. ]
no subject
No, just kidding. He's getting slung over her shoulder like a sack of potatoes, getting her dress dirty in the process. :( She moves quickly, knowing her body will tire from all the extra weight in a few minutes and he doesn't need to be dropped in the dirt twice.
Come on, Winston. ]

But Will might be embarrassed if he knew this was happening. As it is, he continues to sleep even as he's directed in another direction. Though, his footsteps will start to instinctively head the way Chane is leading because, well. He's only asleep, not dead.
Winston follow dutifully, of course. ]

Kneeling down in front of Winston, she tries to mime something. First, gesturing to Will, and then moving her pointer and middle finger in a walking motion across the air - then, gesturing to Winston and... gently biting her own hand. What she's trying to get across is the dog should bite Will - softly! - if he starts to move again. But, knowing that it's unlikely the dog understood any of her bizarre gesticulations, she sighs soundlessly and stands.
Well, hopefully Will will stay there. Chane risks absenting herself for just a moment, peeking into the kitchen to see if Hannibal is in there. ]

Hey. Hey, tomato guy. You can't sleep here.
no subject
'M not sleepin. Here.
[ One of those napkins is getting stuck in his hair though. ]

You want me to go get your boyfriend to take you back to your room?
no subject
Pfft, him. No way. Nooooo way.
[ Still slurring. Still drunk. ]
no subject
[He's almost half a foot taller than her and she's lacking an arm??]
no subject
You don't have to take me anywhere, kid. I'm fine as I am.
[ A shrug. ]
And not him, because he's an ass. The biggest -- the biggest one here.
no subject
[She laughs, though, incredulous.]
Whatever, man. You're drunk.
[Clearly that's the only reason?? He could ever besmirch Hannibal's flawless name??]

[at least someone is sliding him a nice, cool glass of water??]
You've ingested too much alcohol. I've always been told to drink water after finishing such a feat, to combat the inevitable dehydration.
[. . .]
Would you also like me to get you a pillow?
no subject
M'fine as I am, ma'am. Jus' resting here for a bit. No big deal, nope.
no subject
Humans have the tendency to empty the contents of their stomach when they drink too much. Should that happen to you, please make sure you don't get it all over the floor.
[teasing. . . slightly]
no subject
No, if I vomit, I'll -- Well. I'll hope to find a toilet, I guess. Simple little toilet.
[ lord. ]
no subject
Are you sure you'll even be able to reach the toilet in the first place?
no subject
I -- ... Maybe? Probably. Chances are likely, ma'am.
no subject
Unfortunately, I have to admit I don't have much confidence in you. Perhaps I'll keep you company to make sure you don't wind up face first on the floor when the time comes.
[also she's terrible but she finds his current state amusing?? humans are so interesting to observe sometimes??]

saloon!!
ah.
okay.
Yuna takes a second to stare at where Will's either napping or stewing when she enters the saloon, assuming the former, and just sort of...gently shakes Will's shoulder. Please don't be dead, mean dog man......
Softly:] Mister Graham? Are you okay?
no subject
I'm fine. Stop touching me.
[ Because empathy but he doesn't say that bit. ]
no subject
Oh. Sorry.
[p...pause. she doesn't believe him???]
This isn't a very good place to take a nap, though...
