It's a rather quaint town when you get down to it. At least, that's what the Sheriff would argue. Warm and dry in the mornings and afternoons with a brisk coolness in the evenings. The perfect type of weather to just sit out on your rocking chair and observe the comings and goings.
... Of course, there's not much in the way of comings and goings when there aren't any actual people here to watch. Nevertheless, don't let that get you down! The town is your oyster and those roosters won't stop crowing until everyone's out of bed. Up and at 'em, rise and shine, it's time to make the day yours!
After all, there's nothing wrong with the town today and you might just want to savor it while it lasts.
This post functions as the general mingle post for the week. Wanted Posters and other small events will be posted in top levels below. If there's any questions or requests, please send a PM or shoot a PP to robowest. |

So yeah he'll probably (?) help move bodies but he's also kind of just pushing them aside to get to the Annabeth corpse. It's morbid, yes, but he has to see. Upon seeing the horrified scream etched into her face, he immediately regrets that though. So he sits, staring at her for a while and shaking his head eventually. Is it possible to be so desensitized by corpses after four days of dealing with them?]
...what are we supposed to do now? [It's said to anybody passing by, seeing how he's sitting on the ground with the corpse pile and Annabeth in front of him. Help him.]

ash is less perturbed by this than one might expect. In fact, he's actively going through the pile until he finds his own corpse - at which point, without missing a beat, he begins tugging at it by the legs, attempting to remove it from the pile and move it somewhere. What he's planning to do with it is anyone's guess.
It is a big hunk of dead machinery, though, so he seems to be having some trouble. It's somewhere between funny and morbid. ]

[As always, the Hero Club request box sits in the hotel lobby where everyone will be able to see it. It's as pristinely put-together as it was the day it was first set here; any flaw or sign of wear has been dutifully maintained over the past month-ish.
The Hero Club membership list says, Russell, but that doesn't mean what it used to anymore.
The Hero Club membership list says, Ana Amari, but there's nothing to be done for that now.
The Hero Club membership list says, Tarvek Sturmvoraus, but that ended a while ago.
The Hero Club membership list says, Yuna Yuki. There's a flower sticker beside the name to cover up some graffiti.
The Hero Club request box sits in the hotel lobby where everyone will be able to see it, but the declaration that it will be checked twice each day is one more broken promise now.]

[Milla is in the post office today! she is tucking something extremely colorful into every person's mailbox, even those who are dead. she also still looks like her body might fall apart any second now, but you know, this is important!]

he's fine? sure. either way, it's a bit of a shift from how he'd been taking care of himself in previous weeks.

Never thought I'd say that the quiet's too much, right? [he's talking to umbra, but the implication is clear—too many people are dead. but despite that, there's a little bit of resolve in his tone; it's not brooding or depressed, but an air of determination that seems to accompany it, betraying the words a bit.]
monday, evening;
in his left hand, he's holding yuna's bookmark. in his right, he clenches sara's sword.
just feel free to sit next to him, or judge him, or whatever. he's having A Moment.]
whenever;
sometimes, it's out on the homestead, caring for the animals and making sure that they're fed and getting a bit of love.

monday;
[ Except for some time on this day, in which she spends hours in the graveyard. A lot of this time is spent by Seizaburo's grave; the rest, by Yuna's. Mostly she just whiles away the time in thought, or reads a book; though she does take the time to pull out a rulebook, and tear out a blank page. On small pieces of this page she seems to draw something, and leave little folded up notes on the graves she visits.
For whatever reason, she has a wooden flute with her, painted blue. Sometimes she keeps it in her lap, but most of the time it sits at her side, untouched. ]
tuesday;
[ Cooking! It's taken weeks of lessons and some self-teaching, but Xion has actually gotten pretty good at cooking by now. So what this means for this week is:
By midday Tuesday there are little wrapped up bundles of cookies in front of most people's rooms. (Mostly the ones she's aware of that, like. Still have people.) There's no name attached or anything, but it's probably not too hard to figure out who'd get up to shenanigans like this? Anyway, she'll leave any cookies she has left over in the lounge with a little note that says Take as many as you like! Again, unsigned. But maybe you saw her doing all this, or maybe you just guessed she's the culprit. Either way, you can find her in the kitchen most of the day. ]
tuesday;
YOU'LL HAVE TO FIND HIM WHILE HE'S WANDERING AROUND THE HOTEL, XION.]

[ Today, Will can be found standing in front of the population sign for a long time before just sort of going -- ]
... This is more than I expected.
[ He doesn't have much faith in Whole Ass, apparently. ]
TUESDAY | KITCHEN
[ Today, Will can be found in the kitchen, leaning against the countertop and eating potato chips. Greasy, terrible things that were probably processed and disgusting. He looks pretty happy to do it. Later, he will be found eating candy. Honestly, he's just here to eat crap food because Hannibal keeps making gourmet dishes and it's weird. Sometimes he feeds things to Winston during bites. ]
WEDNESDAY | WATERING HOLE
[ Today, Will can be found sitting cross-legged at the edge of the dock and sighing. He hasn't fished here since the corpse stew happened and he's been pretty annoyed about it since. Why did someone ruin the lake? Of all things, you could have left the lake alone.
But, at least he has a book in his lap and a dog by his side. That's peaceful enough, right? ]
WILDCARD
[ Alternative scenarios you can find Will in: not drinking, sleepwalking, generally just wandering around with his dog. ]
tuesday!!!!!
Look, she's been spending a lot of time in the kitchen as her own form of escape. This particular Tuesday is no different. She'd left for a little while, mostly to take Pluto out, and her dog is trotting along behind her as she reenters the kitchen. She'll pause, though, when she sees who it is.
Immediately and almost automatically she tries to clamp down on her own feelings, even though she wasn't feeling or thinking particularly much about anything. ]
... hi, Will. [ Moving into the room and watching him curiously. Pluto will come on over to say hi to Winston, too. ]
Were you looking for something?

LETTERS
ANNABETH CHASE
Seaweed Brain,
I got your letter. It's not quite the same as the vice versa, but I did. I had to throw out another draft of this since I wrote it before you wrote that, though. Of course I put a lot of faith in you - you don't usually let me down, idiot.
I'm going to try to keep from being censored, but at least part of that is random so I can't promise anything. I'm sorry, still. This would absolutely suck from the opposite side, with you telling me things and not being able to hear them. I'm going to try to reply to your message in order, by the way, but I may deviate at least a little. I'll try to hit your main points at least, even if you've forgotten them by now.
I'll pass on your messages. ██████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████. I think that became fairly obvious fairly quickly, however.
So you finally caught on to what story I tried to tell you, but you didn't get why? Sometimes I could strangle you, Percy Jackson. So much of that was to prove to you I am who I say I am, ████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████. As galling as it is to admit, I can't really help you in the way I want to. I can't be the brains here when I can't get the things I want to get across. I will always try for you, but so mch of it doesn't get through.
You already know this, all of you, so maybe this part will: it was Russell. Don't worry about it. I haven't really spoken to him but it wasn't really personal. █████████████████████████████ I suppose that woldn't be settling for you either. But it wasn't your fault.
New Rome is still the plan.
Did you really eat an entire fruit salad? I'm impressed. Maybe you'll eat a vegetable next week.
I could kiss you for the information, but I can't, so just keep trying your hardest to learn everything you can. There's still a lot you don't know. I still think we're the best couple, just so you know. And I wanted you to eat healthy because you're a moron.
Wouldn't you have asked for a way to keep an eye on me?
Telling me your plans are getting better every day is a blatant lie. ███████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████████, much as it kills me to admit it.
I love you, too. I want to see you again.
-Annabeth
PS. Cummings. Nice. I don't really have poetry books here to return the favor, so how about a haiku? Those are easy enough.
I haven't told you
